Chicago's Magnificent MileShow-Stopping Shopping Deals

Many of the reasons Chicago is a dream destination for shoppers can be found in its urban malls, flagship department stores, and outlet centers. With the city's enormous array of retail options, it's a safe bet that every member of your group - from casual browsers to bargain hunters to the most discriminating buyers - will find just the right treasures to take home. And fashionistas - in sync with the Washington Post article which recently dubbed it "the Milan of the Midwest" - know that the city with "chic" in its name is the new go-to place for cutting edge, wearable style. Even better, many of these establishments also offer outstanding VIP packages with discount coupons, gifts and other amenities to sweeten the deal.

An amazing 240-plus shopping and dining options can be found in three stunning Magnificent Mile centers all within a few blocks of each other:

Water Tower Place alone is home to anchor department store Macy's, American Girl Place, and more than 100 other shops, spas and restaurants - all grouped around a dazzling 8-story atrium. Visitors can enjoy exclusive savings at more than 50 of these stores through the Premier Perks program.

Anchored by Bloomingdale's, The 900 Shops on the north end of Mag Mile features an exclusive mix of more than 70 national retailers, unique boutiques, and eateries. Shoppers' money goes further with incentives and savings throughout the center via the Exclusively 900 Card.

The Shops at North Bridge offers nine blocks of shopping fun with anchor Nordstrom Michigan Avenue and 50 other world-class retailers plus 20 distinctive dining options. Scope out special center sales & coupons. In the heart of the Loop Retail Historic District, shopping at the iconic Macy's on State Street is further enhanced when guests access the Visitors Savings Pass to enjoy special discounts.

Groups who want to shop such neighborhoods as Bucktown, Lincoln Park, Ukrainian Village and other trendy areas or to find special items can rely on talented Chicago ShopWalk guides. Excursions include the Made in Chicago Designer Tour of best boutiques and private studios carrying local design collections where guests can meet designers and shop sample sales, the Windy Neighborhood Boutique Tour - customized to explore shops in hot neighborhoods, and the Hunter Gatherer Tour tailored specifically to help shoppers on a mission find exactly what they crave. An added bonus: All tours include Exclusive ShopWalk Discounts for boutiques.

And not far outside the city at Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora in the Western suburbs and at Lighthouse Place Premium Outlets in Michigan City, IN - each center with 120 stores offering impressive savings - the VIP Club adds to the savvy shopping experience with a coupon book, exclusive online coupons, info on special sales and events, brand updates and more.
