St. Hedwig Church at Webster and Hoyne Avenue, on the northwest side of Chicago, is a historical church organized in 1888 to serve Polish families who lived more than a mile from St. Stanislaus Kostka Church at Evergreen Avenue and Noble Street. It was the fourth Polish parish in Chicago to be staffed by the Resurrections Fathers, who had been in charge of St. Stanislaus Kostka parish since 1871.
