Register for Chicago Greeter, a free service that pairs visitors with local volunteers for 2-4 hour customized, guided walks around downtown and the neighborhoods. Get an insider's view of the city based on your preferred language and interests, from public art or history to food or fashion. For a shorter, impromptu excursion, consider Chicago InstaGreeter or Millennium Park Greeter for a free, hour-long walk.

It promotes awareness and appreciation for all forms of jazz through free, quality live musical performance. Since 1979, the festival's mission is to showcase Chicago's vast jazz talent alongside national and international artists to encourage and educate a jazz audience of all ages. Don’t miss opening night in Millennium Park’s Jay Pritzker Pavilion featuring Orbert Davis’ Soul Migration which was commissioned for the Great Black Migration Centennial Celebration.

This citywide, multi-venue festival has attracted over 650,000 concert-goers and has presented more than 650 artists and ensembles from over 80 countries since it began in 1999. FREE performances take you into at all of Chicago's top live clubs, while marquee names also take to the gorgeous, open-air stage of the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park.

Chicago Gourmet, the nation’s premier culinary experience aimed at promoting Chicago’s world-class culinary community, returns to Millennium Park. Each September, celebrity chefs headline cooking demos on two stages, popular wine & mixology seminars serve up the coolest trends in a glass, and an awesome line-up of delicious food, wine, spirits, and beer tastings keeps the crowd rockin' and rollin'.
