High-performance Dainese motorcycle gear seamlessly melds protection with fashion.

Dainese was founded in Italy in 1972 by 24-year-old motorcycle enthusiast Lino Dainese. Tapping into regional leather and clothing expertise, Dainese first unveiled his contemporary, cutting-edge motorcycle styles in his Milan showroom. Over the years, Dainese has infused the company’s ergonomic motorcycle gear with innovative safety features originally designed for suits worn by world champion racers, including legends Giacomo Agostini and Valentino Rossi.

Today, everyday motorcycle riders enjoy the benefits of Dainese’s forward-thinking, high-quality design. One of Dainese’s most impressive inventions is the D-Air® System, an ultra-rapid inflatable airbag system built into specially designed protective garments. The system does not require any vehicle-mounted sensors, instead utilizing six sensors, electronics and GPS integrated into a Pro-Armor back protector, allowing total freedom of movement while ensuring riders’ utmost safety on the road.

Dainese’s unique Custom Works program custom designs and fits race suits and two-piece sets for customers. Based on a customer’s bike and riding style, Dainese experts will take 25 different measurements to tailor an exact fit. They also help customers design their own leathers and accessories (including boots and gloves) in their favorite colors and fabrics, handcrafting an outfit that is uniquely theirs.
