Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday at The Newberry Library June 6, 2026
The Newberry Library in Chicago, The Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia and The Society of Colonial Wars in the State of Illinois are hosting all day activities on June 6, 2026 from 9am – 4pm at The Newberry Library and Washington Square Park, including:
- Gen. George Washington’s Campaign tent from The Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia
- Scott Stephenson and Emily Snef discuss the Declaration of Independence’s Journey and
- Scott Stephenson and Danielle Allen discuss her new book, Radical Duke
