The Hallows

The Hallows is a highly anticipated new event that will be held Halloween weekend in the Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier on Oct. 29, 2022. This immersive event that celebrates all things nocturnal with a dramatic touch of cirque and theatre. Dance to the music of DJ headliners Laidback Luke and Drezo from 8 p.m. – 2 a.m. Tickets start at $45.

New Year on the Pier

Count down to the new year at this opulent party held in the historic Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier. The timeless setting is a beautiful backdrop to this over-the-top celebration that includes live entertainment, Chicago’s largest dance floor, a spectacular countdown, and a light-up-the-sky fireworks show over Lake Michigan at midnight.

Besides the celebration at Navy Pier, GCE holds more than 15 New Year’s Eve parties at top venues around the city, in neighborhoods like River North, Wrigleyville, the West Loop, and Wicker Park.

St. Patrick’s Day Chicago

GCE produces 20 fun festivities on Chicago’s celebratory St. Patrick’s Day Saturday — events are held early morning to late night the Saturday before March 17. The events are held in a wide range of venues and neighborhoods throughout the city, from clubs in River North to pubs in Wrigleyville. Go green and join in one of Chicago’s biggest celebrations of the year.

KY Derby Parties Chicago 

Every year on the first Saturday in May, GCE creates the fanciest-dressed horseracing watch parties in honor of the famed Kentucky Derby. GCE offers some of the classiest mixing and Derby watch parties Chicago has to offer. GCE provides tickets, table reservations, and more for some of the best viewing parties of the year.

Tacos y Tamales Festival 

Held in the city’s Pilsen neighborhood in July, the Tacos y Tamales Festival offers authentic tacos on handmade tortillas and a variety of tamales from several regions of Latin America, all prepared by Mexican chefs. Live entertainment includes everything from traditional mariachi bands to the best of Latin pop. You’ll also find local art installations and a beer garden featuring Modelo brews. A suggested entry donation directly benefits Pilsen community organizations.

Great American Lobster Fest 

The Midwest’s largest lobster and seafood festival, the Great American Lobster Fest is held over three days in late summer at Navy Pier. Live lobsters are flown in fresh from the East Coast for the 15+ lobster entrees that are offered. There’s also other delicious seafood and non-seafood dishes, along with vegetarian options and desserts. This fun fest includes family-friendly activities, craft vendors, and live music on the outdoor main stage. General admission is free, with the ticketed VIP Experience and Lobster Meal Experience offering perks like reserved seating and exclusive lounge access.

Great American Lobster Fest

WingOut Chicago 

The outdoor WingOut Chicago chicken wing block party is held annually in the Old Town neighborhood. Chow down on all the chicken wings you can eat, from classic buffalo to Asian ginger, cooked up by some of the top restaurants in the city. Enjoy drinks and live music in St. Michael’s Church parking lot while sampling more than 20 varieties of wings. Admission is free, with ticketed VIP options available.
