Visit Soul of the Stone at Garfield Park Conservatory on Saturday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The exhibition presents five large Shona stone sculptures within the Sensory Garden beds, creating a dialogue between the carved stone, color, fragrance and living plants.

The exhibition is part of a five-venue Chicago project organized with the Zimbabwe-based M. K. Soman Foundation. Timed reservations are required. Admission is free for Chicago residents with a city ZIP code and ID, with donations accepted; the Conservatory lists admission for non-Chicago visitors as $10 for adults ages 18–64 and $5 for seniors, students and children ages 7–17.
