Music of the Baroque: Vivaldi & Beyond October 19, 2026
Baroque trailblazers Antonio Vivaldi and J. S. Bach launch this journey through the world of 18th-century orchestral music. Concertmaster Gina DiBello shines in one of Vivaldi’s most intriguing dark-hued concertos, balanced by the buoyant, dance-driven elegance of Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 1. Telemann’s cosmopolitan brilliance and the bold innovation of his godson, C. P. E. Bach, lead seamlessly to Joseph Haydn’s impassioned Symphony No. 80.
- S. BACH | Orchestral Suite No. 1
VIVALDI | Concerto for Violin, op. 9 (La cetra), no. 12
- P. E. BACH | Symphony in D Major
TELEMANN | Concerto in E Minor for Recorder & Flute
HAYDN | Symphony No. 80 in D Minor
