The Black Wall Street Chicago Festival is a vibrant celebration of Black entrepreneurship, culture, and community held in the historic Woodlawn neighborhood. This free, family-friendly event transforms the streets into an open-air marketplace featuring unique Black-owned businesses, live entertainment, art, food, and interactive activities for all ages. Festivalgoers can enjoy a dynamic lineup of live music, performances, youth talent showcases, and cultural exhibits highlighting the legacy of the original Black Wall Street while building a vision for economic empowerment in Chicago today. Interactive zones include Youth Entrepreneurship Row, health and wellness resources, and “Playstreets”, for kids with face painting, balloon artists, horseback riding and more. With a mission to support and uplift local businesses, the Black Wall Street Chicago Festival is more than an event—it’s a movement that celebrates heritage, fuels economic growth, and strengthens community connections.
