The Black & Brown Femme Film Festival (BBFF) is a nonprofit, two-day celebration of independent film, showcasing 43 films by Black, Brown, women-identifying, nonbinary, and gender-expansive filmmakers from around the world. Held at the University of Chicago’s Logan Center for the Arts, the festival features film screenings, filmmaker Q&As, panels, a smartphone filmmaking workshop, and free snacks between blocks. With affordable Full Festival, Day, Block, and Student/Senior passes, BBFF is committed to making powerful storytelling accessible to all.
