Asian Buddhist Heritage Celebration July 25, 2026
The Asian Buddhist Heritage Celebration will take place on July 25–26, 2026, in Chicago’s Chinatown, featuring a special veneration of sacred Buddhist relics.
This two-day cultural event offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience traditional Buddhist practices, including an opening blessing ceremony, mindful walk for peace, chanting rituals, and a Dharma sharing assembly. Attendees are welcome to participate in prayer and receive blessings, creating a meaningful and immersive cultural experience.
Held in the Chicago Chinatown Visitor Center, the event invites visitors to explore the neighborhood while experiencing a peaceful and culturally rich atmosphere. As part of this special occasion, the Buddha and sacred relics veneration ceremony highlights the spiritual and cultural significance of Buddhist heritage, welcoming people of all backgrounds.
