6th Annual World Dumpling Fest September 19, 2026
CHICAGO — World Dumpling Fest returns to celebrate cultural diversity throughout Chicago with food, music, and fun. The Chicago Cultural Alliance is excited to host its Sixth Annual World Dumpling Fest. This event will be held on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20 at Wrightwood Park, 2555 N. Ashland Ave., Chicago 60614. Hours are Saturday from 11am to 10 pm; Sunday 11am – 8 pm. This all-ages event will feature two days of cultural arts performances, hand-crafted items designed by local artists, and of course — dumplings! World Dumpling Fest will feature seventeen neighborhood vendors representing dumplings from Latin America, Poland, China, India, Japan, and more!
While there, be sure to stop by the cultural activation booths to learn more about some of Chicago’s most cherished cultural heritage centers — which include: Asian American Arts Chicago, Borderless Magazine, Crossing Borders Music, Heritage Museum of Asian Art, Puerto Rican Arts Alliance,
Gichigamiin Indigenous Nations Museum, MAKE Literary Production, Segundo Ruiz Belvis Cultural Center, Chinese American Museum of Chicago, ROCO Chicago, Kalapriya, Filipino American Historical Society of Chicago, Haitian American Museum of Chicago
Families can play, create, and explore at the Kohl Children’s Museum Family Zone! Make colorful Dumpling art, create a Movement Wand and dance along to the music, challenge your family to Jumbo Connect Four, and enjoy more hands-on activities designed for little hands and big imaginations.
