The Four Seasons by Marc Chagall

Composed of thousands of inlaid chips in over 250 vibrant colors, Marc Chagall's beloved mosaic, The Four Seasons, was created for and given as a gift to the people of Chicago. It stands as one of our city's most beloved public art treasures. The French Consul General of Chicago at the time of dedication summed up the lyrical masterpiece best when he said "It is a work of art, but it is first a gift and a feast — a feast from that great citizen of the world, Marc Chagall."

Lincoln Park Conservatory Chicago

In the Victorian Age, Chicagoans became quite fascinated with assemblages built of iron and glass that gave shelter to a staggering array of plant life for general consumption in any season, no matter how dire the weather. Built between 1890 and 1895, the Lincoln Park Conservatory continues to offer visitors and locals ample reason to make a pilgrimage to the Lincoln Park neighborhood to experience their four wonderful display halls.
