Welcome to The WFCF 2026 Comedy Showcase presented by Christ Gent, one of the featured performances of the 2026 Whats Funny Comedy Festival hosted by NIEM LYON.
Every year, comedians from across the United States submit to perform at the festival. After a rigorous selection process, only a select group is invited to perform during festival week. The result is a lineup that combines fresh new voices with experienced professionals who have spent years—and in some cases decades—perfecting their craft.
Each showcase features at least six comedians, along with an outstanding host who keeps the energy high and the laughs coming all evening long. No two shows are exactly alike, making every performance a unique experience.
Whether you’re discovering your next favorite comedian or watching an established performer sharpen their latest material, you’ll experience an evening filled with originality, energy, and nonstop laughter.
The showcase takes place at the renowned Comedy Bar Chicago, one of the city’s premier destinations for live comedy. With exceptional food, drinks, and an intimate showroom designed specifically for stand-up, Comedy Bar provides the perfect setting for an unforgettable night.

Doors open at 7:00 PM, giving guests plenty of time to enjoy food and beverages before the show begins promptly at 8:00 PM. The showcase concludes at approximately 10:00 PM.
