Julie London was an American singer, a film and TV actress, and a pinup model, whose career spanned five decades. She released over 30 albums of pop and jazz standards, including her signature song, Cry Me a River. She married songwriter and pianist Bobby Troup (from the television show “Route 66”) and later starred with him in the television series Emergency! Billboard named Julie the most popular female vocalist for 1955, 1956, and 1957.
