SPINOFF
Two years ago, Alé left the city to move back into their childhood home to caretake for their mother. Far from friends, their plans in the wind, Alé turned to the familiar world of TV sitcoms for comfort. That’s when Alé discovered Frasier.
Now, it’s time for Alé ’s SPINOFF. Using the script of Frasier as a roadmap, the cast of performers will explore this time in Alé’s life, deconstructing the sitcom form through the Neo-Futurist lens. Who are we to our parents, who are they to us, what’s changed in the years apart?
The parent and the child. The character and the person. Living under the same roof again, will they get picked up for syndication? Or canceled before they can tell the whole story?
