Resilient Hues: Artist Celebration

Join Amanda Williams and Olalekan Jeyifous for an artist talk and a neighborhood party to celebrate their new public art installation at the National Public Housing Museum.

Resilient Hues is inspired by colorful paint chips and wallpaper remnants found at the Jane Addams Homes. The internationally recognized artists turned these found traces of former residents’ style into an iconic entrance for the Museum, and a reminder of the creativity, beauty, and strength of the public housing residents who once called this building home.

In addition to the talk, enjoy a picnic with music and dance to celebrate the resilience of public housing residents.
