Nature Night Out
Join us on Thursday, November 20th, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM for an adults-only evening at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. Guests will enjoy refreshments while exploring the museum’s exhibits, including the new and improved Sustainability Center, as well as “By A Thread: Nature’s Resilience”, a new exhibit launched on June 20th that highlights the science of biodiversity and the work being done to protect it.
This November’s Nature Night Out will be a cozy Nature Night In! Our friends at Dice Dojo in Edgewater are supplying us with a variety of nature-themed board games that we’ll have set up and available to play all night!
To add to the cozy vibes, in addition to our usual alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options, we’ll have hot cocoa available (and something to spike it with if you so choose)!
We’re also lucky enough to be joined by local artist Gabriella Boros, whose work is showcased in our first floor art gallery “Magical Botanicals”. Gabriella will be hosting a tour of her gallery and doing drop-by activities to teach relief printing techniques.
There will also be snacks available for purchase. Every ticket comes with 1 complimentary beverage.
Whether you can join us the whole time or for only an hour, you’re sure to enjoy your Nature Night Out!
