Outstanding ensembles gather for a celebratory showcase of musical achievement at Orchestra Hall at Symphony Center. Opening the program, the VanderCook College of Music Chorale conducted by Robert Sinclair sets the tone with expressive choral artistry, followed by the Ames High School Orchestra under the direction of Elizabeth Driskell, whose refined ensemble playing brings depth and nuance to the stage. The Holy Spirit Preparatory School Wind Symphony, led by Leonard Insalaca, continues with a dynamic and colorful wind repertoire that fills the hall with energy and brilliance. Concluding the performance, Windy City Winds, conducted by Mark Mosley and Sarah Good Mosley, delivers a powerful and engaging finale. Together, these ensembles create an uplifting afternoon of collaboration, dedication, and inspired performance.
