Floorball Chicago Festival April 22, 2026
The Floorball Chicago Festival, taking place June 16–22, 2026, at the Blackhawks Ice Center, is a premier international event hosted by Floorball Chicago to showcase the world’s most popular off-ice hockey sport. The festival features a high-stakes IFF Men’s U19 World Floorball Championships 2027 AMER Qualifier between the USA and Canada, the US Nationals Club Floorball Championship, and various youth tournaments and coaching camps led by USA National Team staff. With 500–600 players expected from across the United States and over a dozen countries, including floorball powerhouses like Sweden and Finland, the event highlights the sport’s massive global reach of over 2 million players. Organized by the Addington family as a passion project to grow the game, the festival offers free admission to spectators, sponsorship opportunities, and “Try Floorball for Free” clinics designed to introduce Chicagoans to this fast-paced, non-contact, and highly accessible sport.
