Day of Restoration for Lithuanian Independence: Flag Raising Ceremony
Join us in commemorating the 36th anniversary of the Restoration of Independence of Lithuania, when on March 11, 1990, Lithuania declared its independence after fifty years under Soviet occupation.
On this occasion, members of the Lithuanian American community and invited guests will gather to raise the Lithuanian national flag in the heart of Chicago at Daley Plaza. Welcoming remarks will be delivered by the Consul General Regimantas Jablonskas.
