Comic Book Day Comic Shop Crawl

Every year, on the first Saturday in May, the industry comes together to give away free comics and encourage both curious, first-time comic book readers and seasoned comic book fans to flock to the best place in the comic book community: local comic shops.

On May 3, pick up a stamp book at any participating comic shop.

Earn a stamp at each store you visit. Collect enough stamps, and you’ll earn a FCBD 2025 Comic Crawl challenge coin! This challenge coin entitles you to participate in a special customer appreciation sale May 10th-11th, and you’ll be entered into our grand prize raffle.

Get a stamp from every participating store and you’ll earn a custom engraved metal challenge coin to commemorate your achievement and claim your bragging rights as one of the ultimate nerds in Chicago.

To kick things off, we’re throwing a party hosted by our friends at DMen Tap. Sip a special, cryptid-themed cocktail and groove to the goth stylings of the legendary DJ Scary Lady Sarah. If you’re lucky, you might spot a certain cryptid on the dance floor!
