Chicago Tap Allstars Returns With “Winter Wonderland”
Chicago Tap Theatre (CTT) is pleased to announce the return of Chicago Tap Allstars’ Winter Wonderland, Saturday, Dec. 6 at 12 p.m., at the Harold Washington Cultural Center, 4701 S. Martin Luther King Dr.
The festive event features stars of Chicago’s tap dance community, including M.A.D.D. Rhythms, Chicago Tap Theatre, brand new collaborations between Chicago’s premiere tap choreographers and performances by the youth following in their footsteps. Chicago Tap Allstars’ Winter Wonderland tap concert is a joyful tribute to the season, bringing Chicagoland’s best tap dancers and rising stars together for a lively afternoon of music and dance. Filled with rhythm, artistry, and heart, Winter Wonderland perfectly captures the essence of tap dance through the sounds of festive holiday jazz.
This year marks Chicago Tap Allstars’ fifth anniversary! Come celebrate by joining the audience or becoming a VIP! With its mix of winter charm and the exuberance of tap dance, Winter Wonderland offers a truly memorable celebration of dance, music and community that’s sure to warm hearts this Chicago winter.
*The VIP experience begins at 11 a.m. and includes a roped-off reception celebrating CTA’s 5th anniversary, featuring sweets from Bittersweet Pastry & Café, a viewing of a curated collection of Bronzeville and Tap History by Reggio “The Hoofer” McLaughlin and early entry to the auditorium to watch the dancers warm up and to pick your favorite seats in the house.
Tickets are $35 for general admission, $75 for VIP* admission, $28 for Seniors 65+ and $25 for Children under 12. All tiers are available now at ChicagoTapTheatre.com/chicago-tap-allstars/.
