Chicago Greeter celebrates CHI250 July 4, 2026
The Chicago Greeter program will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence with FREE walks on July 4th at 11:30am, leaving from the Welcome Center at Millennium Park – 201 E Randolph St., Chicago IL 60601.
Chicago is one of the country’s most influential cities and these walks will give an insider look at the sites and stories that contributed to our country’s history, culture, and legacy. Led by welcoming volunteer Greeters who share interesting facts, insider tips, and an authentic perspective on life in Chicago, the walks will be a great way to get to know Chicago’s vibrant history.
