Abiotic: A Group Exhibition
Your little world matters.
Abiotic is a group exhibition about the quiet details that keep us going in a time of collective fatigue and political chaos. The show turns inward, centering the daily rituals, familiar routes, and chosen communities that make up our ecosystems of survival. While “biotic” describes the living components of an ecosystem, “abiotic” refers to the non-living: the objects, textures, and environments that hold our lives.
Each artist in Abiotic reflects on their personal ecosystem and translates it into physical form. The works ask: How do you sculpt joy? Archive intimacy? Render the rhythm of your life in material? From fabric and concrete to light, plastic, and metal, the materials themselves become vessels of memory, longing, and desire.
This exhibition meditates on the sweetness of small worlds and the endurance we find in beauty. It is about how joy lingers in objects, and how art can carry the shape of a life. In a world defined by instability, Abiotic offers a reminder: our little worlds matter, and the material traces we build sustain us.
