This is a day of events and activities to celebrate Bronzeville and the legacy of Ida B. Wells. There’s something for everyone. You can take a walking or bus tour, listen to a panel on voting rights, watch a film screening, and participate in teen activities, a morning meditation or a healing ritual. Plus, there’s Zumba and more. Learn about and be inspired by the history of Bronzeville, the legacy of Ida B. Wells, and our long tradition of Black activism. All bus tours charge a $45 fee.   1. Ida B. Wells National Monument (3729 S. Langley); 9:00 am – 1;30 pm
  2. Oakwood Shores Community Center (3825 S. Vincennes); 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
  3. Illinois Tech (10 W. 35th St.); 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm
