The Printers Row Lit Fest will celebrate its 40th anniversary on Saturday, September 6, and Sunday, September 7, from 10am to 6pm, in Chicago’s historic Printers Row neighborhood on South Dearborn Avenue, between Ida B. Wells Drive and Polk Street. The event features Sandra Cisneros, world renowned writer and author of “House on Mango Street” as keynote speaker and headliner, more than 70 live programs on six indoor and outdoor stages, over 100 independent booksellers, four Pulitzer Prize writers, children’s storytelling, best selling authors, publishers, literary organizations, educational institutions, food vendors, and more. The two-day event is the largest literary festival in the Midwest. Admission to the lit fest programs and events is free. |
