The tenth annual Lincoln Park Wine Fest transforms tranquil Jonquil Park into a lively celebration of wine October 9–11. Throughout the park, wine and food pavilions showcase selections from around the world, along with delicious bites and wine-inspired accouterments. Sommeliers and brand ambassadors will be on hand to guide everyone from curious newcomers to seasoned wine aficionados, making it easy to discover something new to savor.

 

Lincoln Park Wine Fest takes place in Jonquil Park (1001 W. Wrightwood Avenue) October 9-11 Friday 5-10 p.m.; Saturday 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; and Sunday 11 a.m.-7 p.m. General Admission tickets are starting at $30 in advance. VIP packages start at $67.50. Visitors can choose from a number two-hour tasting sessions held throughout the weekend. During the session, general admission ticket holders will enjoy access to the festival market, twelve tasting tickets and a commemorative tasting glass. VIP ticket holders receive an additional five tastings of carefully curated specialty wines, a commemorative tasting glass, private seating area and restrooms. Plus, an – Exclusive VIP entrance for easy access to event.

 

Varietals on the VIP tasting list include offerings from wineries located in every corner of the grape-growing world from Schweiger Vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon; Neely Family Vineyards, Spring Ridge Vineyard Bee Block Chardonnay;  Caymus Vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon and many more that retail for over $50 a bottle in store, making the VIP tasting a unique and economical experience.

 

Fest goers will enjoy tunes spun by a DJ, food from Pies of London (savory English pies),

Taqueria Teotihuacan (Mexican) and Kurtos R us (Polish) and browse wine related craft and merchant vendors.

 

Lincoln Park Wine Fest is hosted by the Wrightwood Neighbors Association. Proceeds from the event will benefit Wrightwood Neighbors Conversation Program including care of Jonquil Park. Jonquil Park is located at 1001 W. Wrightwood Ave. in Chicago

The Lincoln Park Wine Fest benefits the Wrightwood Neighbors Association and WAPAC (Wrightwood Area Parks Advisory Council). This group of neighbors and businesses have been working together since 1962 to help improve the neighborhood. Their mission is to preserve and enhance the vibrant quality of life for all who live, work, and play in Wrightwood. The all-volunteer community group is for businesses and all the people living in the area bounded by Halsted, Fullerton, Ashland, and Diversey.
