Kalapriya is a cultural arts organization located in the South Loop of Chicago. Kalapriya offers studio classes in dance, music, visual arts and theatre, as well as community events, concerts, theatrical performances, and an annual festival in the summertime. Kalapriya also is the home of the Kalapriya Dance Company. Founded in 2025 under the direction of Harini Nilakantan, the Kalapriya Dance Company performs at school assemblies, festivals and street fairs, private events, corporate engagements, and dance showcases in and around Chicago.
