It all began in 1992 at Mia Francesca, our first location in Lake View, Scott Harris, a chef with a big dream, a few friends and some borrowed cash from Grandma, opened the doors, Spoiler: It was a hit. But it wasn’t just about the food: it was about the experience. Scott Fell in love with Italian cuisine – not just for its flavors, but for its simplicity. It’s soul, and its ability to bring people together around the table.

Our flavors are rooted in Rome and the surrounding regions of Tuscany, Umbria, and Lazio. Simple, hearty dishes let the ingredients shinejust like they do in the Italian countryside.
