The RENS are the funkiest sketch comedy troupe around. Born from the unification of brothers Ricky, Eddy, Nicky and Sammy they have transcended time and space to bring funkadelic sketch comedy to the masses. Straight from the mothership they breathe the four elements of earth, wind, fire and comedy straight into your soul. Get on the good foot and experience the boogie wonderland of The RENS.

This show will also feature comedic performances by Jackie & Allison and BIG FREAK.

Sketchfest Chicago is Chicago’s brand new sketch comedy festival hosted at The Home Comedy Theater this November 5-8.

About the performers:

The RENS are Washington DC’s own dynamic collective delivering bold, original, character driven comedy for the culture. Their sketches blend sharp writing, electric timing, and infectious energy poking fun at society, pop culture, and the everyday tropes we all know too well. Showcasing their ability to entertain while making you think and reminisce. If In Living Color had a Millennial baby, CPS should’ve been called immediately, cuz these kids be wildn’. Jackie & Allison are a comedy duo made up of comedians Jackie Skinner and Allison Villaseñor that originated in Brooklyn, NY. Even though they both live on opposite sides of the country, these two best pals travel to perform clown, sketch, and improv together. Jackie & Allison Into the Multiverse has had sold out shows across the country and has been an official selection for Austin Sketch Fest 2024, Sketchfest Seattle 2024, NYC Sketch Fest 2024, Big Gator Comedy Festival 2024, Toronto Sketch fest (TOSketchfest) 2025, DC Sketch Fest 2025, New York Fringe 2025 (Winner-Best Comedy), Montreal Sketchfest 2025, Philly Sketch fest 2025, and Boston Fringe 2025. https://www.jackieandallison.com

BIG FREAK is a two-person long form improv and sketch team featuring Anna Ross and Ryan Hultman. Based in Chicago, IL, BIG FREAK has been together for 2 years and has trained and performed at venerable comedy institutions including iO Chicago, The Second City, and The Annoyance Theatre.
