The Little Dancer: A Reimagining of The Little Prince April 25, 2026
Ede2, a pre-professional dance company in residence at Dance Center Evanston, celebrates its 15th Anniversary with the original dance production of The Little Dancer: A Reimagining of Le Petit Prince. Created by Artistic Director Rachel Molinaro, this out-of-this-world production follows the story of a pilot marooned in the desert where she meets a mysterious stranger who traveled to Earth from a far away planet in search of the meaning of connection and friendship. This family-friendly show features an eccentric cast of characters who populate various planets, such as space royalty, a talking rose and a friendly fox, who all teach The Little Dancer unique lessons on becoming a good person and how to care for others. The Little Dancer production is a recipient of the Illinois Arts Council Creative Projects Grant for 2026 and the Evanston Arts Council’s Cultural Fund Grant for 2026.
