The Handcuffs, St. Divine, Steve Silver

Led by critically acclaimed drummer Brad Elvis (Screams, The Elvis Brothers, The Romantics) and vocalist/rhythm guitarist/saxophonist Chloe F. Orwell, Chicago’s The Handcuffs explore broad sonic territory while believing in the power of a great radio hook. Their fourth studio album, ‘Burn The Rails’, was released on June 3, 2022 via Pravda Records.

St. Divine is a New York City-based five-piece band whose sound blurs the edges of punk, Americana, and garage rock. Formed in 2024 by Will Croxton and Judy Ann Nock after performing together with punk legend Ivan Julian (Richard Hell and the Voidoids), the band released their debut EP, you can’t go forward and you can’t go back, to rave reviews in May, 2025.

A Chicagoan to the marrow, Steve Silver is a writer and raconteur who spent several decades as a fixture in Chicago’s heady punk, rock & roll and industrial club scene as an ardent supporter, friend, protecter, employee, and sometime band manager. His music-adjacent behind the scenes experiences and observances provide compelling fodder for his storytelling performances and for his upcoming book entitled “F*ck You, We’re From Chicago.” Though his rebellious punk rock spirit always shines through, Silver is also known for his noble, righteous and unassailable character and his larger than life personality.
