Temp Wishes w/ Quasar Wut-Wut June 5, 2026
Josh Chicoine’s (The M’s, Cult Canyon) newest band Temp Wishes also features Edward Anderson (1900s, Mazes), Colby Starck (Mar Caribe, Bobby Conn), and Glenn Rischke (AM Slingers, Bora Bora, Arks). Their debut single (and accompanying music video) is “Flash Fantasy,” a lo-fi psych pop nugget with sticky melodies.
Quasar Wut-Wut’s path to indie art-pop eclecticism started in a basement in Metro Detroit in the early 1990s — a band of 15 year-olds trying to sound like their heroes Robert Smith, Johnny Marr and Black Francis without being too obvious. Calendar year 2026 finds the band putting the finishing touches on an alternate reality stock music library/video series called “HottFaxx” and recording the principle tracks for an untitled follow-up to 2019’s Digesting Mirror LP.
