A double bill of ONE and BLOOD SPILL. ONE is Jeff Hagedorn’s groundbreaking solo play about a young man attempting to understand and confront his AIDS diagnosis at a time when the disease itself was still frighteningly new.
BLOOD SPILL follows HIV-positive playwright Kenny King as he confronts Angela Turner, an old college friend who has become the artistic director of a major theater company. Kenny arrives with a deeply personal AIDS play, only to discover that Angela’s theater has chosen work it considers safer and more accessible to its audience.
