Step into the tormented world of Edgar Allan Poe in this haunting new one-act gothic drama. On the night of his death, Poe is confronted by a mysterious figure known as “The Shadow,” forcing him to face his deepest regrets, lost loves, and come to terms with, what was, his life. This intimate one-act story blurs the line between memory, madness, and the afterlife through Poe’s own words.
This is the World Premiere of this new play, written and directed by Jacob McNeal, who also portrays Poe, alongside Jan Thomas as The Shadow. The performance is approximately 70 minutes, followed by a Q&A.
