Join Lillian Marcie for a free community celebration bridging generations of Black art, music, and culture. The Lillian Marcie Summer Fest features legendary spoken word group The Last Poets alongside rising Chicago youth advocate, rapper, and singer Zion Ali, plus music from DJ God Mode and dance performances from A List Ent. Hosted by Taron Patton and Commissioner Bill Lowry, this free, family-friendly event brings together history and the next generation of Chicago artists for an afternoon of poetry, music, and dance.
