Callie is stuck.

She can’t finish her book, can’t pay rent and can’t seem to get over her ex. And oops! She may have just killed him.

So, Callie and her best friend Gia (who maybe is in love with her) go on the run with Callie’s literary agent and a lady cop chasing behind. Can Callie outrun them and her past?

Written by Haley Basil, Lady Lazarus is a story of heartbreak, revenge and maybe a tiny bit of witchcraft.

Ghostlight will present a staged reading of this new work that is in development at 7 p.m. on Sunday March 22, at Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro (3905 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL 60613). Tickets are a pay-what-you-will donation.
