Josh Ocean Thomas is a Tunisian-American stand-up comedian who moved to Chicago from sunny San Diego in pursuit of better pizza and worse weather. With high energy, razor-sharp wit, and a stage presence big enough to file taxes, Josh brings audiences into his world of overbearing mothers, questionable exes, and the joys of growing up ethnically ambiguous. A former child magician (yes, really), he gave up pulling rabbits out of hats to chase laughs—much to the horror of his family, who were this close to getting a doctor. He proudly identifies as a Jewish-looking Arab, which confuses TSA and delights comedy crowds in equal measure.

Upon entry of the venue, (i) you hereby irrevocably grant the venue owner ( The Comedy Bar), and its parent(s), affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, successors, and assigns (collectively, “Owner”) the right to photograph, record, film and otherwise capture your image, voice, and likeness (collectively, “Footage”) and to own, license, assign and/or use the Footage (and/or any portion thereof) in perpetuity, throughout the world in any and all media including, without limitation, in connection with any productions, programming, advertising and promotion, subject in all respects in Owner’s sole discretion.
