The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis is bringing their landmark tour to Chicago for a live performance at the Symphony Center on April 20 and April 23, 2027.
The 15-piece ensemble will perform Marsalis’ prophetic 2018 oratorio, The Ever Fonky Lowdown. Narrated by acclaimed actor Wendell Pierce, the performance blends big band swing with New Orleans funk, blues, and gospel to satirize modern sociopolitical apathy.
