With war on the horizon, King Henry IV faces a rebellion led by the Percy family while his wayward son, Prince Hal spends his days drinking away the time with the larger-than-life John Falstaff.
Henry IV, Part 1 combines action with high family drama in an intimate exploration of political pressure, personal reality, and the cost of investment in a system that betrays you. Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro will serve as the Boar’s Head Tavern, the Royal Court, and the battlefields of Shrewsbury as the new production investigates the relationships that have been captivating audiences for more than 400 years.
Performances will be August 14th through the 31st at 7:30pm Fridays and Saturdays, and 3:00pm on Sundays at Mrs Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro. Tickets are Pay what you Want!
