Discover fresh games, meet new friends and cosplay as your favorite character at the 5th annual Gamer’s Universe gaming convention.
Gamer’s Universe is an event for all ages and flavors of gamers and is created by the Chicago Teen Gamer’s Guild (CTGG), a group of Chicago teens creating inclusive gaming experiences across the city.
What to expect:
- Mario Kart World tournament with prizes (featuring brackets for players 12 & Under + 13 & Up)
- Cosplay competition (with prizes for the winners)
- Artist Alley featuring local Chicago artists
- The debut of ten original games from the Chicago Teen Gamer’s Guild, including escape room games, board games and scavenger hunts
- Exhibitor hall with tabletop games, speed puzzling, video games and hands-on activities from Chicago’s gaming scene
- Kid-friendly gaming activities in Thomas Hughes Children’s Library
- A video game arcade hosted by I Play Games!
- A Cosplay Cafe, Kpop Random Dance Party, Minifig Painting, a Game Show and more will be scheduled throughout the day!
