Frames of Hope Photo Exhibit October 18, 2026

This exhibit features photography taken by Deaf children and teens living in Somali and Sudanese refugee camps. This is a unique opportunity to see the world through the eyes of an oft-overlooked population, rather than seeing them through someone else’s lens.

All photos were taken with digital and disposable cameras by children in Dadaab Refugee Complex and Aftit Refugee Camp. Photos are printed on metal sheets by Bay Photo Lab, creating an immersive exhibit. Tickets include admission + regional coffee, tea and sweets from East Africa and the Middle East.
