DAMAVERSE: CHICAGO’S LATINA MUSIC FESTIVAL August 23, 2026
DAMAVERSE, Chicago’s first Latina music festival, debuts Sunday, August 23, from 3 to 10 p.m. at Joe’s on Weed Street, bringing together 20 Chicago artists across two stages for a full day of undeniable talent, community and celebration. The festival unfolds across two stages:
- The Main Stage runs all day with sets from twelve of Chicago’s most influential DJs, spinning perreo, bachata, cumbia, merengue, salsa and QuinceCore nostalgia: the songs that raised a generation, mixed by the people who get la cultura.
- The Rooftop hands the mic to seven of Chicago’s most electrifying live acts, running the gamut from mariachi tradition to soulful R&B, post-punk rock to bilingual pop, introducing audiences to a community of artists many may not know yet but absolutely should.
Beyond the music, DAMAVERSE offers a full mercado and amenities built for celebration: get bedazzled with tooth gems between sets, reset with a wellness session, shop everything from waist beads to fresh nails, and dazzle at the pole dancers, all within a safe space built for community.
DAMAVERSE is proudly Latina-led and a wide-open invitation to everyone who celebrates latinidad. DAMAVERSE takes place Sunday, August 23, from 3 to 10 p.m. at Joe’s on Weed Street (940 W.
