Coldwater Kitchen Screening & Talk Back: The Role of Food Media in Social Impact Storytelling


“Coldwater Kitchen” is a timely film that subtly addresses some of the most pressing questions around the carceral system – a system that impacts 1 in 3 Americans – employing food as a prism to tell deeper stories of purpose, resilience, and redemption. Join the Detroit Free Press for a special screening of the James Beard Award Winning film, “Coldwater Kitchen.” Immediately following the screening, the film team will question and discuss the role food media plays in social impact storytelling. Refreshments included.
