ClarkeToberfest: A Weekend of Fall Festivities at the Harley Clarke Mansion October 18, 2026
Clarketoberfest at the Harley Clarke Mansion Oct. 16–18 brings three days of FREE fall fun, beer, food by Hatchet Burger, dancing, family festivities, and live music – including kid-favorite Jeanie B! – to Evanston’s lakefront at 2603 Sheridan Road.
Friday (5 pm-10 pm): Kick off Clarketoberfest with live music and swing dancing on the lakefront! Traffic Jam Swing/beginner swing lesson at 6 pm, Live music, and social dancing at 7 pm $15 to dance or $20 for dancing plus one drink. Free to enjoy the music.
Saturday (3 pm – 10 pm): Celebrate Oktoberfest spirit with a full day of beer, German live music, and fall festivities, including a stein-holding competition (5–5:30 pm) and outdoor games. Beer flights from The Harley Clarke Beer Company and souvenir steins are available.
Sunday – Family Day (12 pm – 8 pm): Bring the family for a day of fall fun on the lakefront! Enjoy pumpkin painting, face painting, balloon making, live kids’ music from Evanston’s own Jeanie B from 1-2:30! A Bears watch party and live music will follow.
