CIVL Fest 2026 presents Indigo at The Whistler April 21, 2026

CIVL Fest 2026 is a citywide festival spotlighting Chicago’s independent venues with ten days of shows, special events, and community-focused programming.

Indigo is a vocalist, composer, and curator from Chicago’s South Side whose work moves with the grounded purpose of truth and connection. Rooted in the traditions of Black Music and aesthetics, she uses song and storytelling to weave together histories, healing, and collective power. As the founder of Indigo Sessions, she uplifts the voices of Black women and Black queer creatives, cultivating spaces of safety, joy, and authenticity in venues like Dorothy and The.BlkRoom. Indigo continues to expand her vision — creating work that lives at the intersection of sound, spirit, and liberation.
