2025 Annual 26th Street Mexican Independence Day Parade – 54th Edition.
The Little Village Chamber of Commerce proudly presents the 54th Annual 26th Street Mexican Independence Day Parade, happening on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 12 PM to 3 PM. This year’s theme, “Pride and Power: Our Strength, Our Legacy,” celebrates the rich cultural heritage, resilience, and lasting contributions of the Mexican community in Little Village and beyond.
Starting at the iconic Little Village Arch on 26th Street and Albany, the parade marches west along the vibrant 26th Street business corridor, ending at Kostner Avenue. Drawing over 400,000 spectators, it is one of the largest and most anticipated parades in the Midwest.
This dynamic celebration will feature colorful floats, live mariachi music, traditional folkloric dancers, and community groups representing the heart and soul of Little Village. Local businesses, elected officials, artists, and families come together to celebrate unity, culture, and community pride.
Join us in honoring our past, uplifting our present, and building a legacy for future generations!
