A Conversation with Choose Chicago Partner Ken Sitkowski, Bannerville USA
We partnered with Choose Chicago with the intention of building strong business relationships. Whether it was by hitting the links at the annual Choose Chicago's annual Chicago Classic Golf Outing or by attending various "partner connection" events, we've been able to take advantage of the many networking opportunities the organization has to offer. The most satisfying aspect of our relationship with Choose Chicago has been to see it transcend business. We feel like Bannerville USA and Choose Chicago are true friends, always there to help one another.
As a result of our partnership, we have served many Choose Chicago clients over the years - and not just for our ability to provide street pole banners. We have provided decals, flags, and trade show accessories to a number of these clients as well. Bannerville USA has been partnering with Choose Chicago for approximately 15 years. During that time, we've printed and installed the individual trade show banners for the city's light poles, which always hang along with the Chicago We're Glad You're Here® campaign signage.
Bannerville USA recently partnered with Choose Chicago and the Chicago Sports Commission in attending the TEAMS '12 Conference in Detroit. The TEAMS conference allows all sport competition groups to pitch their events to Chicago in hopes of our city playing host. We found this to be a rewarding experience as we attempted, in a small way, to help Chicago win some of the sports competition business in the U.S.
I would recommend joining Choose Chicago to any business looking to reach the visitor marketplace. Choose Chicago offers some of the best networking opportunities in the city. With over 1,200 partners, there are endless opportunities to help your business grow. Choose Chicago prides itself on marketing the city as a whole, highlighting the charms of Chicago that make it a special destination.
Bannerville USA has been printing and installing banners throughout the city and suburbs since 1973. For almost 40 years, they've served many of Chicago's largest cultural institutions including the Field Museum, the Museum of Science and Industry, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the Lincoln Park Zoo. This fall, Bannerville completed a successful campaign with the Chicago Marathon, and will turn its attention to the holiday decorating needs of organizations like the Chicago Loop Alliance and the Greater North Michigan Avenue Association as they prepare for their holiday shopping season.
