Sitting at the legendary crossroads of Route 66 and the US 30 Lincoln Highway in historic Joliet, our museum invites travelers and music lovers to step inside and experience the stories behind the artists who helped shape Americas sound. From the electric blues that once lit up Maxwell Street to the iconic hits born on Chicagos Record Row, this is where Illinois music history plays on. Check out the history of great bands and musicians like Cheap Trick, Buddy Guy, Chicago, Koko Taylor, Styx, Mahalia Jackson, REO Speedwagon, Muddy Waters, and many more!
